2012 : Of ups and downs.

2012. This year has not been that easy. My journey has been divided in both extremes. Super happy and super sad. I made a list of the unforgettable memories that I know I will learn from, whether these are good and/or bad.

1. Graduation. Psychology 2012.

  • This is the most waited part of all students who are in college. The final moment of reaping the fruit of hardships, pains and joys of studying. I can say it was a moving experience adding the fact of graduating with latin honor. I know I made my parents/family proud. Just like what I always wanted.

2. Law school.

  • I can still remember, when I was a child, I want to be a lawyer. I want to be different amongst my playmates since almost all of them were dreaming to become teachers or doctors. Time flies. There are already many lawyers. But, that did not stop from joining the legal profession. I am convinced that after graduation I will proceed to law school. Currently, I am in my first year (again!). Hihi.

3. University of Santo Tomas

  • I will never regret that I chose this university to continue my post graduate studies. Four or five years from now, I will become a Thomasian Lawyer. Keeping the faith! Studying the hardest!

4. JuanBee.

JuanBee with Prosec. Garcia
  • I am thankful that I belong to section 1B which we refer to as JuanBee. There may be misunderstandings, hatred, dislikes, happiness and the like but I know we are all striving to become lawyers someday.
  • We may not all graduate from the same school and on the same year or rather pass the bar exam on the first or second take but I believe that we will all be part of the legal profession. Our memories being members of JuanBee will forever be cherished.

5. New Friends.

Mean Girls with Atty. Rabuya
  • Bern. Kaye. Patty. KC. Gay. Teff. Justine. Fra. These girls kept and still keeping me sane despite the fact that law school makes us crazy most of the times. the story of our friendship is still in its second chapter. I cannot wait for making more chapters with them.
HAAAASSSSHHHHTAAAAGGG!!!
  • Dee. Rina. Chari (not in the pic). Meg. Janus. A tale of when people from Baguio try their luck in Manila. :) All of us are Louisians who decided to pursue our study in UST and SBC-Alabang.

6. Break-up
  • After almost 14 months, I decided to end my relationship with the boyfriend. It was one of the difficult decisions I made. He is made me feel almost everything yet I was still not content. It may be a cliche but the line "It was not you, it was I." is applicable in our case. I am thankful for all the memories we shared. Somebody, I hope we will be friends.

7. Probation.
  • There is this rule in the UST Faculty of Civil Law that the students must be able to reach the specified General Weighted Average (GWA) to be able to stay in the said faculty. If you are not able to reach the GWA for a certain semester, you will be under probation. Meaning, if in the next semester, you still did not get the specified (GWA), you will no longer be allowed to enroll.
  • Unfortunately, I am under probation this second semester. I am doing my best to get good grades, really good grades this time. With my patience, perseverance and faith, I can make it!

8. Mom's successful operation.
  • Early this month (December 2012), my mom was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer Stage 1B. Her ob-gyne said she has to undergo major operation as soon as possible. A few days after, she was operated. Thank God, everything went well. And the biopsy show no sign of any cancer cells so she does not need to undergo chemotherapy or radiation. God is good, all the time!

9. Vigaaaaaaaan!

  • I have been dying to visit Vigan. Luckily, at Christmas Day, I was given the chance. A bit of hesitation yet I grabbed the opportunity. For me, this place is the most romantic place in the north. I am fascinated with the Spanish Culture (even if the treated Filipinos in not-so-nice-way. Sadly!). I will make another post about my Vigan trip when I have time. Soon. Really soon, I guess. Hihi
I cannot wait to my crazy adventures this 2013! *Cheers*

Case No. 005-2319

There is no law that states : when the professor is late for a certain period of time, the class will be extended amounting to that period of time. In the case at bar, when the the professor is late for 30 minutes, the class should not be extended to 30 minutes. Wherefore, the petition is GRANTED, with costs.

Life.

Wednesday. Thursday. Friday.

Bring it on, L.S.!

Here's my schedule for the 1st semester. It's a good schedule since the subjects are distributed well. There will be enough time for me to prepare for the next class. Hopefully, I will be able to survive my first semester as a first year law student and the next semesters to come. :)

Thomasian, yes I am!

After all the the thinking and considerations, I decided to enroll in UST.

So here are the reasons behind that choice:

  1. The place is safer.
  2. There is uniform!!! (Yeah, I like being in uniform. It shows how presentable are you as a law student. For the practicality side, it is a great way to save time, money and effort since you will no longer feel stress on thinkig what to wear.)
  3. In UST, there are many activities that are "stress relievers" for the students. One example is the "Paskuhan" wherein there are different bands performing and the extravagant fireworks. :)) (that would be fun, I guess. hihi)
  4. Because of that (no.3), student life is happier!
  5. Anddd, UST is a well-known university not only in the Philippines but also in the world.
There. :) Thank you University of Santo Tomas for accepting me and welcoming me. :))

Hello, San Beda!

As an aspiring Lawyer, UP or San Beda will always be the best choice/s. Nevermind ADMU since my family cannot afford the tuition. Hihi!

I decided to apply to both. Unfortunately, I failed UP (loser!!!). But, I passed San Beda. I belong to Category B so I scheduled for an interview which went pretty well.

My mom is hesitant to enroll me because her main concern is my safety (knowing that Mendiola is the place where most rallies happen). So, she asked me to apply to UST. Right now, I’m still waiting for the result.

My next school isn’t final yet. I just decided for that title. :)

Capones Island and Anawangin Cove

This, what I may call "the ultimate outing" has been planned for more than a month. We were not complete due to conflict of schedules since each of us have their own careers or busy with other stuffs. Now, I will share some pictures from that wonderful experience. :)

Arrival at Pandaquit, Zambales

My first ever boat ride. Oh myyyyy, I was really scared (even if it is not obvious with this picture. HAHA)

In the middle of the sea, somehow became comfortable and enjoying the ride :)

Group picture in Capones Island

This island is very appealing to the tourist mainly because of its white sand. The only disadvantage is there are no cottages. So, you will not be able to atleast hide from the for a few minutes, in case you want to.

The girls invading Capones Island ♡

The overrated jump shot.

My friend, Aleah, and I replicating the Baywatch. HAHAHAHA

The beach in Capones Island! Wow! I love the green-ish blue-ish color of the water. Plus, it is very clear and clean.

Eksena! Kailangan may arte pic sa beach! :))

On our way to Anawangin Cove. Another boat ride, yes sir!

Need to say more? :))

Sexy girls!!!

We went trekking. (Another first time for me. Hihi)
This is the view halfway from the top. The girls weren't able to reach the top since we're already tired.

Anawangin Cove, top view.

We're going down, down, dowwwwnnnnn.

Thumb up for the trekking experience!

Little John Hay in Anawangin Cove. :D

Indeed, this was a fun day with my high school friends. But then, we miss Anne. She was not able to come because she has more important thing to do.

Si Manong Guard

Nag-apply ako sa UST kanina.

Habang kinukuha ko yung collateral expired ID ko:

Manong: Dito ka na mag-aaral niyan!
Ako: Hindi pa po. Exam palang po.
Manong: Sure na yan. Matatalino mga taga-SLU eh!

Wehehehehehehe! Iba ka manong, panalo! :)

THIS!

There are things that people need to be proud of. Anddddd so, this is what I am currently proud of. I may have difficulties along the way but I was able graduate with an honor. I will never forget this chapter of my life. I will definitely miss college days. But, I will keep moving forward. Another chapter of my life awaits me. So, there. Love, Happiness && Success :)

Through all these years, I have never been expressive on how thankful I am for the love, support and encouragement I received from the amazing people in my life. This is my opportunity to appreciate and to give my thank you - sssss to my family (mama, daddy, allen,aj), the Videz' family (dhang, lloyd, grae) and to my big circle of friends (these are just a few : vhin, sam, jody, carlo, mai, lei, sid, stef, lance, yabz) :) And to my Stan , cheers to our more adventures!

PS: In all my accounts, I have posted something like this. I promise, this is the last. Hihi

Save the 182 trees!

Baguio City is known as the City of Pines, hindi naman as a City with a huge-SM-parking-lot-building!!!
